September 2023 update…
Time to say good bye for now to our lovely Lauren as she heads back South to finish her studies, sneak in a holiday and catch her breath after another amazing Winter here at Active Massage.
We can not wait to see where she goes from here. Onwards and upwards!!!
Fear not you loyal Lauren clients, she will be making CAMEOS in the studio from time to time, watch this space.
Speaking of space this wee dynamic studio has had its best month on record, August 2023. Thank you to each of you for the ongoing support and trust. We could not do this without you, and of course our amazing team of brilliant therapists…
…On the topic of brilliant – Victoria is crushing the Tuesdays, Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays
She is also on the last of her studies for this year completing her level 6 qualification.
This means she will be eligible to take Southern Cross insurance very soon. We will keep you posted
Diz and Elle have kept our winter nights humming with both having requests from you lovely locals and travellers who have the inside skinny. Again thanks for the support. We will miss them both.
Diz will be heading back to Wellington mid October and Elle follows shortly there after.
I hold onto hope they both decide to revisit Wānaka in the summer and slide back into working from our studio.
Luckily, I’m feeling rested and strong WHOOP WHOOP, bring on spring and all you athletes training for any one of the awesome events that happen over the next 7 months!!

…4 more weeks until the WAO Summit, do you have your tickets? We do and can not wait to listen, learn and connect with our local community who help to make environmental changes accessible and possible to even the small guy like us.
We were lucky enough to be part of Environmental Accounting Services workshop they held over a couple of days at the Wanaka Hub which helped us understand some of our carbon numbers, here is a fun fact. One massage from Active Massage in Wānaka is approximately 1 kg of carbon.
Seems a bit silly to mention the Sauna now but I will
Sauna is red hot, just text a time you would like and we’ll jump through the hoops to get it ready for you.
On a completely different train of thought overseas visitors seem to get caught in a loop with Timely bookings. Please if using an international number click “guest” and follow the directions I believe on the third page it will ask you to enter a number, (just do so in the phone number box not the SMS box), otherwise send us a text and we will jump through the hoops to accommodate.
FYI, Sauna is charged at $60.00 for 80 minutes or $65.00 for 2 people for 80 minutes.
Normatec are in studio and available for koha to one of our three favourite charities , Local, Wānaka Search and Rescue, National, Cancer Society , and International , Himalayan Trust.
