Our studio, situated in central Wanaka at Level 1, 74 Ardmore Street, is a haven for healing, restoration and relaxation. Warm, tranquil and cosy, Active Massage offers a unique and special experience for locals and visitors.

The treatment, whether for high performance, recovery, rejuvenation or pleasure, is ultimately restorative. The business ethos is focused on providing a highly personalised experience, attuned to guests’ needs. Part of the magic of our clinic is the team’s ability to read bodies and deliver a customised treatment, designed to restore and revive.

Infrared Sauna – New!

We now have a 4 person infrared sauna available in the studio. This is so beneficial for relieving soreness and stiffness, as well as reducing inflammation. You can book online and pricing includes your sauna / shower & towel hire. Sessions are 55 mins.

Gray is amazing. She has worked on my aching muscles for years and years. Always supporting my athletic endeavours. She has a very kind, warm personality, and is extremely qualified in what she does. As soon I arrived i felt relaxed and very welcome. Gray has such intoxicating energy and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend an hour. Easy to find location, lovely rooms light and airy, the linen and warm blankets were so luxurious. The massage was out if this world, Gray knew exactly where to work on my body. I had a fantastic, rejuvenating experience at Active Massage. Vic was the massage therapist and started the session with a thorough check-in for any injuries or ailments that may be relevant to the massage and then dove into what I was hoping to get out of the massage itself. As someone training for a race, I was hoping to get a more therapeutic, focused massage and Vic certainly provided. Professional, friendly, good communicator, and a great massage therapist - one of the best I've had work done with. Can't recommend Active Massage enough!

Our experience was wonderful! My husband and I did the infrared sauna before the massage what helped us to relax. Gray, as always, was amazing; she looked at me and knew exactly what I needed. She and her team are so welcoming that it is impossible do not feel comfortable. It's a trustworthy team. We will be back!
